These terms govern your use of FinChat Hub (“FinChat Hub”, “we”, “us”), available at finchathub.com and on WhatsApp. By using our service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What FinChat Hub is
FinChat Hub is a comparison and referral service. We help people in Botswana compare loans, insurance, savings and investment options and, when you ask us to, connect you with a provider. We are not a bank, lender, insurer, or licensed financial adviser, and we do not provide financial advice. The products themselves are offered by third-party providers under their own terms.
Using FinChat Hub as a consumer
- The service is free for you to use. You contact us on WhatsApp and choose whether to proceed with any provider.
- Please give accurate information so we can help you compare relevant options. You are responsible for the decisions you make.
- We do not guarantee that any provider will approve you, or offer any particular rate, amount or term. Rates and terms are set by the providers and can change.
Dealing with providers
If you take up a product, your agreement is with that provider, not with FinChat Hub. Their own terms, pricing, cooling-off periods and complaint procedures apply. Any dispute about a product is between you and the provider.
For businesses buying lead packages
- Lead packages are a digital service sold through our shop. A “lead” is an enquiry from a consumer who has, through FinChat Hub, expressed interest in a product like yours and agreed to be contacted.
- We do not guarantee that any lead will convert into a sale. You are responsible for contacting leads promptly and for complying with the laws that apply to your business, including data-protection and marketing rules.
- Billing, cancellations and refunds are covered in our Refund and Returns Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access where these terms are broken.
Privacy
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care, but to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for the decisions of providers, for products you take up, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Botswana law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Botswana.
