- Information you send us on WhatsApp: your name and phone number, the type of product you are interested in (for example a loan, insurance, savings or investment), and any details you choose to share so we can help you compare options, such as an amount, a budget, or your general location.
- Website information: when you visit finchathub.com, cookies and similar tools may be used to keep the site working and to understand how it is used. You can manage non-essential cookies through the cookie banner on the site.
Please do not send us sensitive information such as passwords, full account numbers or PINs. We will never ask for them.
How we use your information
- To understand what you are looking for and show you relevant options.
- To connect you with a financial provider when you ask us to.
- To respond to your messages and improve our service.
Sharing your information with providers
The core of our service is connecting you with financial providers. We only share your details with a provider when you ask us to or agree to it, for example when you choose an option and want the provider to contact you with a quote. We do not sell your personal information.
Conversations with FinChat Hub take place on WhatsApp, which is provided by Meta and has its own terms and privacy policy. Please review WhatsApp’s policy to understand how your messages are handled on their platform.
How long we keep your information
We keep the details of your enquiry only for as long as we need them to help you and to keep proper records, and then we delete or anonymise them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time. Just email info@finchathub.com and we will respond promptly. We handle personal information in line with Botswana’s data-protection laws.
